Astronergy Completes a 20MWp PV Project in China

Astronergy (also known as Chint Solar), a subsidiary of Chint Group, announces its completion of a 20MWp Golmud PV power plant in Qinghai Province, one of the biggest PV projects in China.

In addition to Astronergy PV panels, all other key components of this project including switch gears (DC/AC), transformers and cables are manufactured and supplied by Chint Group, reflecting the ability of Chint Group to provide total solutions for a solar park project.

The Golmud PV plant is expected to generate 875,000,000 kWh in 25 years and create more job opportunities contributing to local economic development.

More than 60MWp PV projects in China have been undertaken by Astronergy since 2009. The strong capability of providing a total solution service and the EPC expertise has enabled Astronergy to secure big projects within the country.

Since the announcement of China PV Feed-In Tariff, the implementation of large utility scale PV power plants is booming fast in China.
