Case Highlights
Located in Queensland, Australia, this project represents a landmark distributed solar milestone showcasing Astronergy’s commitment to driving green energy transition for Mercy Community, a leading local non-profit social services and healthcare provider. Engineered and installed by DS Energy, the project spans three major residential aged care sites under Mercy Community: Emmaus, Allambe & Bethesda, and Mary Damian, with a total installed capacity of 825.12 kW. The system achieved staged grid connections, with Allambe & Bethesda completed in November 2024, Mary Damian in December 2024, and the final Emmaus site officially activated in June 2025.
Astronergy custom-supplied 1,719 units of its high-efficiency CHSM60M-HC 480W monocrystalline modules for this multi-site deployment. Given that residential aged care facilities demand the absolute highest standards of operational safety and uninterruptible power reliability, Astronergy's modules—celebrated for superior PID resistance, robust mechanical load capacity, and long-term durability—served as the perfect energy solution. Upon full commissioning, the project delivers an average annual power output of 1,201.7 MWh, preventing more than 366 tonnes of CO₂ emissions each year. This successful execution not only drastically slashes operational electricity costs for critical care facilities but also underscores Astronergy’s brand value in empowering community welfare through clean energy.
