Featuring over 2,000 square meters of solar panels, McDonald 360kW Net-Zero Restaurant is the first LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) certified restaurant in China and the Asia-Pacific region. The whole project consists of a C&I Distributed Power Station and a PV-Powered House. For C&I Distributed power station, Astronergy has provided 727 ASTRO monofacial modules (455W) with the strength of convenient installation and optimal power generation efficiency. As a milestone of green development in catering industry, the Net-Zero Restaurant is expected to generate about 330,000 kWh annually, meeting the daily operating power needs of the restaurant and reducing carbon emissions by about 200 tons per year, which is equivalent to the annual carbon footprint of 50 people.
