During Intersolar Europe 2025, Astronergy’s ASTRO N7s PV modules proudly obtained two certificates, including Vereinigung Kantonaler Feuerversicherungen (VKF) HW4 Hail Impact Test Certificate and High Mechanical Load Test Certificate from TÜV NORD with exceptional results of +10,000/-4,000 Pa. These two achievements highlight the remarkable resilience and reliability of ASTRO N7s in extreme environmental conditions.

At TÜV Rheinland’s advanced facility in Cologne, ASTRO N7s successfully passed a comprehensive series of tests that simulated severe hail impact conditions. Struck by 40 mm ice balls following IEC 61215-2 and VKF specifications, ASTRO N7s showcases no cracks and no power degradation, confirming its outstanding structural integrity and resistance against severe hail challenges.

TÜV NORD’s mechanical load tests cover conditions typically seen as the upper mechanical limits for equipment installed in windy, high-altitude, snowy, and desert regions, further reinforcing ASTRO N7s as a reliable and preferred choice for clients.
Jack Zhou, Head of Global Product Technical Management at Astronergy, said, “Passing both the VKF Hail Test and TÜV NORD Mechanical Load Test with such excellent results is a testament to the durability and technological innovation of ASTRO N7s. It will give customers the confidence to install our modules in the various challenging environments.”
Featuring ZBB-TOPCon technology, ASTRO N7s significantly reduce the risks of hidden cracks and encapsulation failures, extending product lifespan, lowering the need for maintenance and reducing operational expenditures over time.
