High-Efficiency TOPCon 5.0 Solar Cell Technology
Powered by various industry-leading technologies, the newly upgraded TOPCon 5.0 solar cell technology significantly improves the cells’ Open-circuit Voltage (Voc) and Isc, and fill factor, reduces parasitic absorption, enhances passivation effect and light capture capability, thus increasing the cell efficiency up to over 27%.
Innovative Cell Screen Design
Astronergy’s ZBB-TOPCon PV modules feature advanced cell screen designs that offer multiple advantages and aesthetic benefits.
- PAD-point-free and harpoon-free structure: With no PAD points and harpoon-like ribbons on the cells, combined with more numerous ribbons, the light-exposed area of the cells is greatly increased, enhancing the modules’ aesthetic appearance and conversion efficiency as a result.
- Optimized contact structure: It realizes the contact optimization between fingers and ribbons, to improve the weld tensile strength and the current collection capacity of cell edges. This structure can also achieve a better bonding effect between ribbons and fingers after the lamination process, all contributing to higher product reliability.
Industry-Leading Integrated Film Technology
Astronergy adopts a low-fluidity carrier film to pre-fix metal ribbons on the surface of the solar cell, and the soldering alloying occurs in the lamination process. Besides, the temperature of the manufacturing process is lower than 150℃, resulting in no high-temperature welding stress, lower energy consumption, and lower carbon emissions. Without flux usage, there are no Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs) emissions, ensuring both eco-friendliness and cost-efficiency.
Moreover, Astronergy also integrates novel technologies and materials, such as low-temperature/low-lead ribbons, high aesthetic glass, rectangular wafers, low-fluidity adhesive films and carrier films and all-black aesthetic cells, to deliver a complete ZBB-TOPCon product portfolio.
