Australia Yatpool 106MW Solar Park, spreading over an area of 630 acres, has successfully connected to Victoria (VIC) national grid in December 2019. The whole project consists of 350,000 modules by generating enough electricity for 40,000 households and preventing 105,841t of carbon dioxide emissions a year. Astronergy has provided the half capacity (53MW) with ASTRO modules for the project. VIC is considered as the nation’s clean energy powerhouse, cutting emissions by more than any other state, tripling the amount of renewable energy. The VIC government has already announced an target of 95% renewable energy use by 2035, ending the state's reliance on coal for power generation and establishing a state-owned company to held a controlling stake in new renewable energy projects.
