With installation of 523.1MW Astronergy PV modules, the first phase of the world's largest hydro-solar power plant – Kela solar power plant, also the world's highest power station of its kind, started power generation in China on June 25. Kela PV power plant is located at the West Sichuan Plateau with the highest altitude of 4600 meters. It is constantly affected by extreme weather conditions such as strong winds, blizzards, and freezing, which places extremely high demands on the reliability and durability of PV modules. ASTRO 5 won the project in case of its great performance in providing quality assurance for the efficient, stable, and long-lasting operation of the power plant with their reliability, high efficiency, and other performance. With large proportion of Astronergy PV modules, the power plant could help to reduce the use of 600,000 tons of standard coal annually and reduce carbon dioxide emissions by more than 1.6 million tons.

The Douro Project, located in Vila Chã da Beira, Portugal, is a landmark renewable energy initiative with a total installed capacity of 150MW. Powered by Astronergy’s high-efficiency PV modules, the plant is expected to generate approximately 230GWh of clean electricity annually—enough to supply 76,000 Portuguese homes and avoid around 82,000 metric tons of CO₂ emissions each year.

The Carmonita solar farm, owned by QUILA SOLAR, S.L.U. and ARCONTE SOLAR, S.L.U., both special purpose vehicles of Fotowatio Renewable Venture, is a significant renewable energy initiative located in Badajoz, Extremadura, Spain. With an installed capacity of 106 MW, the solar farm utilizes ASTRO N5 photovoltaic modules. Construction of the project took place throughout 2023 and early 2024, and it successfully connected to the grid in early September 2024. This project contributes to the transition towards sustainable energy and showcases advancements in solar technology.

The Terminal de Transportes de Duitama solar project in Boyacá, Colombia, highlights Astronergy’s contribution to advancing clean energy in public infrastructure. By equipping a key regional transportation hub with high-efficiency solar technology, the initiative demonstrates how renewable solutions can directly benefit local communities. With a total installed capacity of 226 kWp, the project was delivered in two phases: Phase 1 (113 kWp) completed in June 2025, and Phase 2 (113 kWp) finalized in January 2026. In total, 390 ASTRO N5 modules of 580W each were installed, supplied by Astronergy through the trusted partnership with Solares y Suministros. The system is expected to generate approximately 252,000 kWh of clean electricity annually, offsetting more than 81.4 tons of CO₂ emissions every year. Beyond environmental benefits, the project brings tangible social and economic advantages by reducing operational costs and improving the energy reliability of the transport terminal—directly enhancing services for the local public. Keech Hospice provides specialist palliative, respite, and end-of-life care for adults, children, and their families across Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire, and Milton Keynes. The charity supports patients with life-limiting illnesses both at its hospice facilities and in the community, offering medical care, emotional support, and bereavement services — all free of charge. Astronergy has supported Keech Hospice UK with a 220kW rooftop solar PV installation, utilising 504 donated ASTRO N5s n-type modules, helping the charity significantly reduce long-term energy costs while demonstrating how solar can deliver meaningful social value. The solar installation is expected to save Keech Hospice approximately £50,000 per year in electricity costs, with potential for greater savings over time. These reductions will allow the hospice to redirect vital funding towards patient care and essential frontline services.
