On April 30th, 2026, Astronergy officially released its 2025 Sustainability          Report, detailing the tangible impact of its operations and highlighting its role as an active driver of the global energy transition.

As of 2025, Astronergy has expanded its footprint to over 140 countries and regions, with cumulative global shipments surpassing 170GW. This scale has translated into a meaningful environmental impact: generating an estimated 221 billion kWh of green electricity annually, which equates to the reduction of approximately 182.8 million tons of carbon emissions.

Decarbonizing the Value Chain

Astronergy continued to strengthen the environmental performance of its manufacturing in 2025 through a series of targeted initiatives. A total of 132 energy-saving projects helped save 72 million kWh of electricity and 11 water-saving projects reduced water consumption by 595,400 tons. During the same period, committing to the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi), Astronergy successfully achieved a 39.65% reduction in absolute Scope 1 and 2 GHG emissions from the base year. Additionally, Scope 3 Category 1 emissions from purchased goods and services per unit of product fell by 6.51% from the base year.

At the production level, continued process optimization also improved energy efficiency, reducing energy consumption intensity for cell production by 15.73% and that for module production by 18.78% year on year.

These improvements were supported by stronger waste and resource management practices, enabling Astronergy to achieve zero landfill for general waste.

Empowering People and Communities

Astronergy’s long-term growth is built on investing in people and creating opportunities for inclusive progress. In 2025, the company invested approximately $1.21 million in employee training and development. As part of these efforts, 241 employees completed higher education programs. Meanwhile, Astronergy has also seen significant growth in female representation, with women now comprising 28.75% of its workforce and holding 17.25% of management positions.

Beyond the office, through the “Solar The Future” public welfare program, Astronergy has donated around $530,000 to support education, directly benefiting 695 students by providing better access to learning resources. Local procurement ratio reached 86.63%, equivalent to about $1.38 billion, which boosts regional GDP, contributes to more stable regional supply chains and stronger local economic resilience.

These initiatives reflect a broader commitment: Astronergy is not just aiming at powering grids, but also providing lasting social value where it is most needed.

Integrity, Quality and Global Recognition

Governance and consistent product reliability remain the bedrock of Astronergy’s business operations. The company obtained ISO 27001 information security management system certification, with the system implemented across all operational sites. This reinforces the company's robust data governance and risk control practices. Product quality remained a top priority, with a 100% pass rate in product supervision and sampling inspection, and zero major quality and safety incidents.

This commitment to responsible operations has been recognized by leading global certifications:

  • EcoVadis Platinum at Group Level (Top 1% globally)
  • Silver for SSI Certified ESG Site & Bronze for SSI Certified Supply Chain Traceability Site (As of the end of the Reporting Period, both Chint Solar (Haining) Co., Ltd. and Chint New Energy Technology (Fuyang) Co.,Ltd. were certified for these two recognitions.)
  • A- at Leadership level in CDP Water Security Questionnaire and a B rating in CDP Climate Change Questionnaire
  • Official validation of near-term emission reduction targets by the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi)

“ESG is more than a set of metrics for Astronergy. It is how we guide our decisions and measure our responsibility,” said Haiyan Huang, EVP & CSO at Astronergy. “As we look beyond 2025, our goal remains clear: to advance industrial growth while steadily reducing negative impact on the environment. By fostering a collaborative, ethical and low-carbon ecosystem with our upstream and downstream partners, we are building a foundation for long-term, sustainable development.”
