According to the news from Astronergy’s newly built manufacturing base on June 5th,  the average efficiency of its massively produced n-type TOPCon 3.0 technology photovoltaic cell has exceeded 25.6%, and the highest average efficiency of TOPCon cells at its pilot lines has reached 25.85%, Astronergy once again lead the spur of the industry to lead TOPCon cell conversion efficiency enter 26% era in near future.

As a pioneer in n-type TOPCon PV modules, Astronergy saw the rolling out of its first piece of n-type TOPCon PV cell and TOPCon PV module at its Haining Manufacturing Base in June 2022. Just one year later, the TOPCon 3.0 tech independently researched and developed by itself once firm its frontier stand in the PV industry.

Through the combination of Boron selective-emitter technology, efficient cleaning, and efficient back passivation processes, the breakthroughs in the average efficiency of its massively produced n-type TOPCon 3.0 tech PV cell and the highest average efficiency of TOPCon cells at its pilot lines foresaw that the efficiency of Astronergy TOPCon cells will exceed 26% in a near term.

Devoting itself to TOPCon tech for many years, Astronergy acted as the lead in the industry to complete the introduction of Boron-LDSE tech into TOPCon cells, realizing the mass production with the efficiency of mass-produced TOPCon cells increased by more than 0.3%, formally entered the TOPCon 3.0 era in earlier this year.

To resolve the main efficiency loss of front recombination loss, optical loss, front transmission loss and passivation contact loss of TOPCon cells, Astronergy is still on the high-speed way to improve efficiency by new generation Boron selective-emitter technology, new front-side and back-side passivation layers and new high-efficiency contact passivation technology to constantly make breakthroughs in cell efficiency. By the end of 2023, the efficiency of Astronergy TOPCon cell is expected to reach 26%+.
